The hotel had free and clean rooms, although a bit small and noisy, especially on weekends. The service was highly friendly and personal, with helpful staff who even provided us with another room. The location was exceptional, right in the old town with plenty of local shops and bars/restaurants around. The dining experience, while adequate, could be more inventive. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. Although my room was situated on the top floor and had only roof windows, it surprisingly turned out to be a quiet room despite being near a busy courtyard full of restaurants. The room was super stylish and in working condition; however, it was a little small, though still manageable. The service was fantastic in a really busy part of the old town. The staff was extremely helpful, storing our small backpacks for early check-in and late check-out. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bilbao as the service was really friendly and personal. Regarding the location, it was in Casco Viejo, a pedestrian neighborhood from 11 am onward, which was ideal for exploring Bilbao. The hotel's proximity to the Guggenheim museum and convenient access to transportation options like the tram line from the bus station and a short walk to the train station and other attractions made it a great base for sightseeing. On the downside, the room was clean but very basic and dark. But, on a positive note, the hotel's facilities were in good condition. Despite some drawbacks, the value for money was reasonable for the overall experience.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the plus side, the property owner, property manager, and housekeeping staff were very helpful and always prompt with their services. However, the room had a lingering cigarette smell that required me to keep the window open overnight. Although the room was functional, clean, and comfortable, the shower was cramped, possibly the tiniest I've ever seen.
